Qahira, Egyptian prosecutor has announced the release of the former president Hassan e Mubarak after his 6 years in jail, he ruled the country for about 40 years. He and his two sons were arrested in the murder case of the protesters.
Prosecutor of the case said that the former president can go home after the permission of the doctors, he also added that due to an other case over Hassan e Mubarak, he could not travel abroad to leave the country.
Few days back his lawyer Fareed El-Deeb reported to media that, “All we have left is a simple administrative procedure that should take no more than 48 hours,” lawyer added, “He should be freed by the end of the week.”
Shadi Hamid, director of research for the Brookings Doha Center said, “Mubarak is just the icing on the cake and it shows what we’re seeing is a restoration of the old order, and probably worse than that.”
